QNow Rapid His-Tag Protein Quantitation Kit
The QNow® Rapid His-Tag Protein Quantitation test is a lateral flow immunochromatography based assay (LFIA) for the rapid quantification of His-tagged protein. The assay is easy to perform and is highly sensitive using only nanograms of protein. The QNow Rapid His-Tag quantitation test detects and quantitates His-tagged recombinant protein directly from any fractions, including cell culture media or lysate.
Peptide epitope tags are widely used in recombinant protein expression for detection and purification. Poly Histidine (His) tag is one of most commonly used epitope tags due to its smaller size and easy purification of the tagged protein with metal affinity chromatography. However, detection and quantitation of protein using gel electrophoresis/Western Blotting or ELISA methods can be cumbersome and time consuming and requires skilled handling.

Detection Range:
The optimal quantitation range of the QNow® Rapid His-Tag Protein Quantitation Test is between 10 to 300nM of His-Tag Protein.
